Thank you to Unite the Union for inviting me to speak at their equalities conference. As a proud trade unionist, the conference reaffirmed my belief in the great work of Unite and the many individuals who contribute to its cause. Improving the representation of BAME voices in Parliament is necessary so that our
laws truly reflect our society.
