Thousands of children are in extreme poverty and at risk of destitution. I secured a debate in the House of Commons Chamber this evening to challenge the government to get a grip on the no recourse to public funds condition and on local authorities failing children requiring section 17 support. Every child should be safe and have enough to eat.
